The easiest way to send us support is online through the link available on the Adventive Cross Cultural Initiatives website (www.adventive.ca). If from Canada, click on the “Donate Now (Canadian)” icon (you will see it on the left of the home page).This will take you to another page on the Adventive site, with a link called “Click here to donate now”. If you click on this, it will take you to a page run by Canada Helps, which will be processing the donation.
Monthly Donations
Monthly donations have created a little confusion, so we will do our best to help out. To set up the Canada Helps page for monthly donations, make this choice beside “Donation Frequency”, otherwise the webpage is set up for a one time donation. Type in the amount at the top, and choose how long you would like the donation to continue for.
The most important point here is that a note be put in the Message/Instructions box, explaining that the money is to be designated to Brad and Julia Frey (Europe A5). If this doesn’t happen, the money will not be sent to us!
This will take you to a page where you can either login, if you have a Canada Helps account, or continue without an account (you will have the chance to create an account later in the process). The following pages are fairly simple. The first one asks for personal info (and includes the option to create an account). The second asks for a payment method. And finally, you will have the chance to review the donation and all of your information one more time before submitting it all.
Receipts will be emailed to you monthly from Canada Helps.
One Time Donation
For a one time donation, simply type in the amount, and use the drop down menu beside “Fund/Designation” in order to make sure that the money is sent to us. When you click on “Continue” it will allow you to review the donation, and if correct, you can click “Checkout”. This will take you to a page where you can either login, if you have a Canada Helps account, or continue without an account (you will have the chance to create an account later in the process).
